The two Democrats who hope to unseat first-term U.S. Rep. Nick LaLota in the 1st District will meet in a Zoom debate on Monday.
The debate, from 7-8 p.m., is hosted by Southampton Town’s SEA-TV and the League of Women Voters of the Hamptons, Shelter Island and the North Fork.
It can be viewed live on Southampton Town’s YouTube channel. The recording of the debate will be available the next day.
The primary is June 25; election day is Nov. 5.
The 1st District includes parts of Huntington, though other parts of town will return to the 3rd District in January, where US Rep. Tom Suozzi is being challenged by Mike LiPetri.
