Elija Farm Raising Funds to Support Summer Jobs

A campaign is underway to raise funds to support jobs at Elija Farm this summer.

The “Pave the Way to Employment” campaign would fund would employ individuals with autism from June 12 to Sept. 26 in the communtiy supported agriculture program, working 10 hours a week.

What funds cover:

  • 15 donation employs one worker for one hour at the minimum wage
  • $37.50 donation employs one worker for an entire day (2.5 hrs)
  • $150 donation employs one worker for one full week (10 hrs)
  • $600 donation employs one worker for one summer month
  •  $2,100 donation employs one worker for the summer CSA season (14 weeks)

The farm is also offering stickers, t-shirts and other items for smaller donations, including:

A donation from $1 to $99.99 – ELIJA sticker

A donation from $100 to $149.99 – ELIJA t-shirt

A donation from $150 to $249.99 – a 4″ x 8″ engraved paver at ELIJA Farm’s Beyer Family Greenhouse

A donation over $250 – an 8″ x 8″ engraved paver at ELIJA Farm’s Beyer Family Greenhouse
