Engeman Theater will host a fundraising concert Tuesday to help build a new Ronald McDonald House in Stony Brook.
Singer Anthony Nunziata will perform from his repertoire of songs, including pop standards, classic jazz, and original music.
Opening for him is former American Idol contestant Leah Laurenti, while Joy Mangano, a TV personality and entrepreneur, will emcee the program.
This will be the first Ronald McDonald House in Suffolk County, and only the second on Long Island; the other is in New Hyde Park, adjacent to Cohen Children’s Medical Center.
A Ronald McDonald House provides quarters for families who have infants and children being treated for cancer and other catastrophic illnesses so they can be close together.
The concert is at 8 p.m.
