Fun turning things into other things.
I found this suitcase in a thrift shop a few weeks ago and fell in love. I wasn’t sure what exactly to do with it, but on impulse, I had to have it. By chance, I also needed a small bookshelf so, voilá! Found the idea on Pinterest. It took visiting three different hardware stores to find one that would cut this suitcase in half, but hallelujah for Jem Woodwork in BedStuy who did it for FREE. ? I’m not much of a DIY pro, but I’m patting myself on the back for this one ☝️.
That vase is an upcycled juice bottle too (I’m on DIY fire ?).
