Executive Joins Family Service League

Family Service League on Monday announced the appointment of Roslyn Martorano as chief compliance officer.

The non-profit organization provides an array of programs, including counseling, homelessness, substance abuse treatment, suicide prevention, and education for thousands of children and adults every year.

Prior to joining FSL, she served as Chief Privacy Officer for the University of California system, as well as Chief of Staff to the Chief Integrity Officer of the nation’s largest local social services district, the New York City Department of Social Services. Her other experience includes working for New York State Senator Kemp Hannon, Chair of the Standing Committee on Health, and New York’s first Medicaid Inspector General.

Martorano earned a Juris Doctor degree from Albany Law School at Union University and a Bachelor Degree from Arizona State University. She is a Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) and a Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM).  She resides in Bayside.
