Farmers markets began sprouting up around Huntington this weekend. Despite the occasionally gray skies, residents were out buying breads, pickles, desserts, fruits and vegetables, along with pastas, wines and fish.
Two farmers markets, one in Northport and the other in Huntington, run on Saturday and Sunday, respectively, until mid-fall.
