‘Field of Honor’ Flags Go Up at Town Hall

The Huntington Kiwanis Club and numerous volunteers installed dozens of American flags Saturday on the lawn of Town Hall as a salute to veterans.

The Field of Honor flags go up every year before Sept.11 and come down after the anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor.

Flags bear a gold cord personalized for a veteran, past or present. They are available for purchase online.

All proceeds benefit The Kiwanis Club of Huntington Children’s Foundation, Inc.
