Two forums on opioid abuse are scheduled in Huntington next week.
The sessions are entitled Responding to Opioid Overdose and offered by the state Department of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services.
Town Councilman Edmund J.M. Smyth will host the first session Monday July 16 at the Huntington YMCA, 60 Main St., Huntington. State Sen. Carl Marcellino will host the second Thursday July 19 at the East Northport Fire Department at 1 Ninth Ave., East Northport.
