Four vehicles were involved in a crash at Blink Fitness last week. One overturned onto its roof.
The Melville Fire Department responded to the crash in the parking lot of Blink Fitness on Pinelawn Road and Broad Hollow Road on Thursday, January 10 at about 8:30am.
The driver of the overturned car declined medical assistance, and there were no injuries reported.
While responding the to the accident, a Suffolk Police sector car was struck by another car on Pinelawn Road in front of Blackstone Steakhouse. The police officer was taken to Huntington Hospital, and the driver of the second car was taken to Plainview Hospital, both with minor injuries by Melville Rescue Squad ambulances.
About 25 firefighters and rescue personnel were on the scene under the direction of Chiefs David Kaplan and Bill Schmit.
