Free Soccer Program Running in Huntington Station

A free summer soccer program  for children is underway in Huntington Station.

The program is sponsored by the Suffolk County Police Second Precinct, the Suffolk Police Athletic League, Councilman Gene Cook and the Town Board.

Girls and boys between the ages of 6 to 14 are invited to play on Fridays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Manor Field Park. No registration is required.

The summer program runs until Aug.30, with coaching provided by Jose Alfaro of the Alfaro Soccer Academy.

A fall soccer program for children in second to eighth grades will run from Sept.19-Nov.14.
