Gary A. Hontz, of Eaton’s Neck, died Feb.20 at age 67. He was an ex-chief in the Eaton’s Neck Volunteer Fire Department and a member for 38 years.
He was retired from Columbia Presbyterian Hospital as a purchasing manager.
He leaves his wife, Ardyn, his daughter Heather Brumm (Jim), grandson, and brother Ronald G. Hontz (Karrie) and sister Nancy C. LaRoche (Nigel).
Memorial visiting Saturday March 2, 2-5 pm at Nolan Funeral Home, 5 Laurel Avenue, Northport, with firematic service at 5 p.m. In his memory, donations to; Wounded Warrior Project, www.woundedwarriorproject.org or St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital, www.stjude.org, would be appreciated.
