A GoFundMe campaign has been set up to help the motorcyclist badly injured last week in a collision on East Jericho Turnpike.
Kia of Huntington set up the campaign for their employee, Ryan Hefferon, 26. He was in a collision with one car and then a second stationary vehicle in the entranceway to the Dunkin’ Donuts at 795 East Jericho Turnpike.
Ryan is a cherished member of our team at Kia of Huntington, known for his genuine kindness and generosity, unwavering dedication, and exceptional customer service. Unfortunately, this unforeseen accident has left him with severe injuries, necessitating extensive medical care and a long road to recovery,” a statement by Kia said.
The campaign seeks to raise $15,000. “As they navigate through this challenging period, any contribution you can make will greatly alleviate their stress and allow them to focus on what matters most: Ryan’’s recovery,” the campaign says.
