‘Great Chefs of Long Island’ to Benefit Family Service League

Restaurants from around the area will be joining in the “Great Chefs of Long Island” on Nov.5 to benefit Family Service League.

The event will run from 5:30-9:30pm at Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury. The fundraiser,  co-chaired by Matthew Niegocki of Prudential Advisors and Dennis Russo of GEICO, helps thousands of Long Island children and families in need.

Chefs from more than 40 restaurants from Long Beach to the Hamptons will present their best fare for an evening of signature dishes and delicacies.  A large selection of wines, spirits, and microbrews will be available.  In addition, guests will be able to shop for unique designer gifts and luxury services at the auction.

Dennis Russo and I are very excited to assist Family Service League with Great Chefs of Long Island.  Much needed funds are generated from this extraordinary culinary tradition.  It requires a collaborative effort on the part of the generous donors, committee volunteers, FSL Board, and staff,”  Niegocki said.

Tickets are $225 per person and may be ordered online at www.fsl-li.org
