Greenlawn Man Crushed by Van

A Greenlawn man was killed Friday afternoon when a van he was working on slipped out of gear and fell on him.

Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad detectives said Michael Callejo, 59, of Greenlawn was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner.

The accident occurred in North Amityville.

No further details were available.
