Group Demands Justice for Slain Soldier

The murder of an Army soldier in Texas drew demonstrators demanding justice Wednesday night in Huntington Station.

About two dozen residents gathered at the intersection of Route 110 and Jericho Turnpike held signs and chanted for the soldier whose remains were found last week after she vanished April 22 from the grounds of Ft. Hood.

Relatives insisted that the military wasn’t pursuing her disappearance sufficiently and said she had been harassed before she went missing.

When law enforcement moved in to question another soldier, Sgt. Aaron Robinson, before her remains were found, he killed himself. Robinson’s girlfriend was arrested on charges of tampering with evidence.
