Halesite FD’s Annual Christmas Tree Sale Dec. 7-9

The Halesite Fire Department’s annual Christmas tree sale is set for the weekend of Dec. 7-9. The sale runs from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and again from 8 a.m. Sunday until the trees are gone.

All of the trees will be Fraser firs freshly delivered from North Carolina. In addition, there will be decorative wreaths and roping available along with the department’s annual raffle. Free delivery is available for residents in the Halesite Fire District.

Santa will be at the tree sale from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 8. Visitors also can have their photo taken on the iconic sleigh from “Elf” with the big guy himself.

The Halesite Ladies Auxiliary will be selling hot chocolate and baked goods to raise money for the Family Service League. They will also be collecting food and toy donations for the Family Service League. Please consider helping out a family in need this holiday season!

Parking is around the back of the firehouse, which is located at 1 North New York Ave., Halesite, at the foot of Youngs Hill Road.
