Happening in Huntington: School Board in Session; Early Voting

Here are some of the events coming up this week in Huntington.

Monday: The Huntington school board returns to in-person meetings Monday night at 7:30 PM. Social distancing guidelines will be in effect. Use of Zoom will discontinue, but meetings will continue to be livestreamed on the HUFSD YouTube channel. See details.

Tuesday: The Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce will have its Chamber Networking Breakfast Tuesday from 7:30 AM to 9:30  AM at Harbor Club at Prime.
Wednesday: The Suffolk County Legislature  offers a Facebook Live COVID-19 Vaccine Q&A with infectious disease experts and healthcare professionals. Viewers can either ask questions in the comment section live or submit questions in advance at .

Thursday: Trivia night Thursday at the Whaling Museum. Fun, virtual competition.
Friday: The Town Ethics Board will be meeting  Friday at 9:30 am remotely via Zoom.  The public session can be viewed live on Optimum 18, FIOS 38 and online.
Saturday: Early voting gets underway Saturday for candidates in the June 22 primary. Local voting spots include  the Dix Hills Fire Department and the Station branch of the Huntington Public Library. Candidates are running for Town Board and  town supervisor positions on Democratic and Working Families party lines. All sites and times.
The Huntington Village Farmers Market opens at 7:30 am at 228 Main St. Huntington.
All are invited to join the community cleanup at Coindre Hall Saturday from 9 am to noon. 101 Browns Road, Huntington. Gloves, water and trash bags will be provided.
