Harborfields High School Closed for 2 Days by Student Covid-19 Case

Harborfields High School shifted to remote learning only Monday and Tuesday after a student tested positive for Covid-19.

In a letter posted to the district website, the district  said that it was told Sunday that a student at Harborfields High School tested positive for COVID19.

The district is working with the Suffolk County Department of Health for contract tracing and will notify those considered a close contact.

“We are in constant contact with the Suffolk County Department of Health and will follow all necessary
protocols to reduce exposure to other students and staff. We will continue to take all necessary
precautions to ensure the health and safety of the Harborfields Community as this remains our foremost
priority,” the district said.

As of Monday, the state reportcard on schools did not list the Harborfields case.
