The Harborfields Central School District has named Sharon Donnelly the district’s new assistant superintendent for business, effective July 1.
She will succeed Bill Nimmo, who is retiring.

Before her current role in Connetquot, she served as the district’s director of accounting and district treasurer for five years, as well as the district’s intern in educational leadership and administration. She has additional experience in the fields of education finance and in the private financial sector.
She holds a Bachelor of Business Arts degree in accounting from Adelphi University, a Master of Science in education from C.W. Post, an advanced graduate certificate in human resources management from Stony Brook University and a New York State professional certification in school district business leadership.
“We are pleased to welcome Ms. Donnelly to the Harborfields family,” said Superintendent of Schools Dr. Francesco Ianni. “She has a wealth of experience that will benefit our district. I am confident she will serve our district well.”
