Harborfields Names Assistant Superintendent for Business

The Harborfields Central School District has named Sharon Donnelly the district’s new assistant superintendent for business, effective July 1.

She will succeed  Bill Nimmo, who is retiring.

Donnelly served as assistant superintendent for business for the Connetquot Central School District for the past six years.

Before her current role in Connetquot, she served as the district’s director of accounting and district treasurer for five years, as well as the district’s intern in educational leadership and administration. She has additional experience in the fields of education finance and in the private financial sector.

She  holds a Bachelor of Business Arts degree in accounting from Adelphi University, a Master of Science in education from C.W. Post, an advanced graduate certificate in human resources management from Stony Brook University and a New York State professional certification in school district business leadership.
“We are pleased to welcome Ms. Donnelly to the Harborfields family,” said Superintendent of Schools Dr. Francesco Ianni. “She has a wealth of experience that will benefit our district. I am confident she will serve our district well.”
