Harborfields Voters to Choose 2 School Trustees

Harborfields school district has four candidates running to fill two seats on the school board and a proposed budget of $88,019,552, representing a $1,932,85 increase over the current budget.

The increase is within the state tax cap, the district said.

The candidates are:

The budget includes a restructuring of two administrative positions. One administrator serves as the assistant principal to both Washington Drive Primary School and Oldfield Middle School.

The district said the proposed budget includes adding an administrator so that Washington Drive would have its own full-time assistant principal, given the school’s growing curricular and security needs. The second administrator would then serve as both the assistant principal to Oldfield Middle School and a guidance administrator for grades K-12.
