The Art League of Long Island has booked its 57th annual holiday fine art and craft fair for this weekend.
On display will be works of pottery, woodcraft, clothing, glass jewelry, toys and more.
The show at the league, 107 East Deer Park Road, Dix Hills, will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday.
Meanwhile, registration is open to all adults for the Huntington Public Library’s Great Community Cookie Exchange. Residents are invited to bring two dozen, or more, of their favorite signature cookies or dessert bars to share at the Dec. 6 exchange, which runs from 6 to 9 p.m.
Recipes should be submitted by Thursday to be included in the community dessert recipe book. Prizes will be awarded for Most Unique, Prettiest, and Best-Tasting. Recipes should be emailed to [email protected] or dropped off at the library. A copy will go to each person who registers and attends. Containers will be provided to take home sample cookies.
