Curfews at restaurants and bars will shift to midnight from 11 p.m., effective Monday, Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo said Wednesday.
For catered events, the curfew will be 1 a.m., from midnight.
Cuomo also said that spectators will be allowed at horse and auto races at 20 percent capacity, as of April 22. Spectators will have to follow the same state guidelines in effect at other professional sports, including needing to show proof of a recent negative test or completed vaccination series before entry. They will also have to wear face coverings, maintain social distancing, and health screening.
