Huntington Business District Elects Leaders

The Huntington Station Business Improvement District recently elected new officers.

Chosen were: President Frank Cosentino of County Line Hardware. He has been on the board for eight years and served as president in 2016. He wants to  to emphasize helping businesses to recover from the downturn in business caused by the pandemic.

Dolores (Dee) Thompson, who was instrumental in forming the BID in 2003, was re-elected to the office of vice president, a position she has held since the BID’s inception.

Kyle Albers of Huntington Coach was elected as treasurer and Brad Rosen, president of OZ Development, was elected assistant treasurer.

Elected secretary was Mary Kelly, manager of the Huntington Station Branch of
the Huntington Library, while Monica Murphy of State Farm Insurance on New York Avenue will hold the position of assistant secretary.

The BID members meet the third Wednesday of the month.
