Huntington Farmers Market to Return This Summer

The  Huntington Town Board voted Wednesday to bring back a farmer’s market this summer.

The board voted unanimously to allow Supervisor Chad A. Lupinacci to enter a contract with the Long Island Farmers’ Market.

The Long Island Growers Market had planned to move its market from Main Street to Gardiner’s Farm at 900 Park Ave. this year but on May 13, announced that it could not meet all the requirements imposed by Covid-19 restrictions.

But the new organization will move the market back to the downtown parking lot and operate on Saturdays from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. from June 13 until Nov.21.
