Huntington Flags Flown at Half-Staff to Honor Lives Lost in Pittsburgh

All flags on Town of Huntington properties were ordered flown at half-staff on Monday to honor the lives lost in the Saturday shooting that killed 11 worshippers and wounded six at the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh, Pa.

“Anti-Semitism and acts of hate have no place in America: Freedom of religion was one of our great nation’s founding principles,” said Supervisor Chad A. Lupinacci, who directed the remembrance. “The Town of Huntington stands in mourning and in solidarity with the people of Pittsburgh and the entire Jewish community across our country.”
