A team of Huntington Hospital employees is heading to Jones Beach Sunday morning to join the Northwell Health Walk.
The walk supports care for women and children through the Katz Institute for Women’s Health and Cohen Children’s Medical Center.
Jennifer Baierlein, director of Patient Care Services for Women and Children’s Health, at Huntington Hospital is leading a team of at least 10 known as the Rockababies.
‘My team is walking to support Women and Children’s Health. We are fortunate to be part of a great system health network that provides the utmost quality care to our patients,” she said. Baierlein, who has been at Huntington Hospital since 1996, is making the walk for the third year.
Walks are going on at Jones Beach, the East End, Staten Island and Westchester.
