Christopher Jackson was arrested Monday and charged with killing his girlfriend, Suffolk County police said.
Jackson, 45, was charged with second-degree murder in the killing of Mareasa Wescott.
Suffolk police found her dead Jan. 18 in the couple’s Elm Street apartment after the property landlord requested a welfare check because she hadn’t been seen in several days.
He will be arraigned in First District Court in Central Islip on Tuesday.
