Huntington Man Killed in 4-Vehicle Crash

A Huntington man was killed Monday in a four-vehicle collision on Jericho Turnpike.

Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives said that Mark Bernzweig, 50, who was driving a 2004 Honda west on Jericho about 5 p.m., and Denise O’Grady collided as she attempted to make a left turn onto Jericho from southbound Warner Road.

His vehicle continued westbound on Jericho Turnpike, where it struck a 2013 Nissan Rogue driven by Ester Lopez-Dominguez, and a 2012 Nissan Versa being driven by Alexis Selmar. Both vehicles were stopped eastbound on Jericho Turnpike, waiting at a light at Warner Road.

Bernzweig was transported to Huntington Hospital where he died.
