The Town of Huntington is offering free boating safety classes in May. Attendees will receive a Boating Safety credential issued by New York State Parks.
The course will be offered May 19 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Town Board Room at Huntington Town Hall.
The course is open to adults and kids age 10 and over. To register for this free course, please call the Harbormasters office at 631-351-3255. You may also send an e-mail to [email protected] with name, address, and contact number. Also indicate the number of adults and persons under 18.
“These courses are critically important for the safety of our residents and visitors who come to enjoy our local waterways,” Supervisor Chad A. Lupinacci said.
