Huntington School Board to Meet, Elect President

The Huntington school board will have its annual reorganization meeting Tuesday night, followed by a regular business meeting.

On Monday night, Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo extended an executive order to allow for meetings to be conducted remotely.

The reorganization meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m., with newly elected trustee Kelly Donovan joining the board, and trustees will elect a new president to succeed Jen Hebert, who served on the board for nine years before retiring this year.

The board will meet in the Jack Abrams STEM auditorium, and the meeting livestreamed.
