Huntington school district voters approved the budget and re-elected Xavier Palacios to the Board of Education.
They also chose Kelly Donovan to fill a vacancy created by the retirement of president Jen Hebert.
The budget of $135,938,167 represents a 1.84 percent increase over this year. It passed 3,697-1,249.
They also approved, 3,976-924, a proposition authorizing a $3.64-million capital reserve for partial roof replacement at the high school, boiler replacement and renovation of two science classroom/labs at the middle school, auditorium renovation at the magnet school, and installation of solar panels at one of the district’s primary schools.
