Huntington St. Patrick’s Day: Music, Marching and Fun

Hundreds of members of pipe bands, fire departments, Scout groups and more took to Main Street in Huntington Sunday afternoon to celebrate the 86th St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

A group of snow dog lovers and a bicycling family on old-fashioned wheels who perform as the Cycling Murrays joined in the festivities as the Ancient Order of Hibernians paraded in their finest.

Political representatives walked the parade route, handing out pamphlets, and several elected officials marched in the parade.

Members of the Order of the Ancient and Honorable Huntington Militia fired off several loud volleys and Irish step dancing groups entertained the crowds.
