Huntington Station Group Donates Clock Tower to Town

Huntington Station will soon have a clock tower at the intersection of Pulaski Road and New York Avenue.

The Town Board recently  accepted the donation by the Huntington Station Business Improvement District. The 16-foot tower  will be installed on the southeast corner of the intersection, on the edge of a town-owned lot.

Frank Cosentino, president of the Huntington Station BID, said the organization is “starting a whole slew of projects,” including helping to update security cameras in the area, ordering 50 automatic hand sanitizing stations to give to businesses that don’t have them, and landscaping renovations.

The organization plans a networking event Dec. 15 at El Sueno Mexican Grill to bring Huntington Station business owners together.

The clock will face in all four directions and bear the words “Huntington Station”.

The Town of Huntington will install and maintain the electric clock tower and landscaping around it.
