Huntington Station Library Branch to Expand

The Station branch of the Huntington Public Library will expand its services and hours starting this summer.

The available space will double to 14,000 square feet. The library gained the second floor of the building when the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints moved out.

Joanne Adam,  library director, said that the work is expected to be completed by September. On July 1, she said, the library will be open on Sundays, and hours will expand throughout the week to match those of the main library, closing at 9 p.m. instead of 8 p.m.

Separate rooms are set up for programs and class services, while others are designed to help patrons with citizenship or passport services.
