A Huntington Station man was arrested by Nassau police and charged in the robbery of a gas station Sunday in Jericho.
Nassau police said that Barry Costa entered the Speedway Gas Station at 60 Jericho Turnpike, approached approached the teller and placed his hand in his pocket as if he had a gun. He then went behind the counter and took lottery tickets, cigarettes and currency from the register. Then he fled.
After an investigation, Barry Costa was placed under arrest without incident at Jericho Motel on Monday afternoon.
Costa is charged with Robbery 3rd degree and will be arraigned Tuesday in Mineola.
