Henry Schein, the healthcare company headquartered in Melville, announced that Jonathan Koch has joined the company as senior vice president and chief executive officer of the Global Dental Group.
The company also reported that James P. Breslawski has added the title of vice chairman to his current role as president of Henry Schein.
Koch, 43, previously worked for a health diagnostics company, LabCorp’s Covance, as a senior executive in their business segment. There, he had several roles, first, overseeing 6,000 employees, developing and executing business growth strategies, expanding margins, increasing employee retention, and then in a later role, leading approximately 11,000 employees in more than 60 countries, the company said.
At Henry Schein, he will report to Breslawski as a member of the Executive Management Committee. Koch will be also be responsible for the leadership of the Global Dental Group, which includes business performance, management and strategic direction.
