What: Second Annual Kids Day Camp for Children Ages 6-12
Where: Kadampa Kids Day Camp, 282 New York Ave, Huntington
When: Monday, August 19th – Friday, August 23rd
Cost: Kadampa Kid $150, discounted prices for multiple kids, willing to work with families who might require some financial assistance.
About: A daily program that will teach children how to meditate and practical life lessons such as remembering the kindness of others, the value of helping others, what it means to be a protector to the protector-less, how to cherish our precious Dharma Center and our backyard garden, as well as giving campers an introduction to some traditional Buddhist ritual practices. Snacks will be provided, but campers should bring their own lunch.

About: Kids can design their very own custom canvas bag with markers, paint, jewels, stamps, fringe, and much more. Afterwards, children will take a tour of The Walt Whitman Birthplace historic home.
