Congressional candidates Bridget Fleming. a Democrat, and Nick LaLota, a Republican, will debate Nov.1 in an online forum focusing on issues of interest to older residents.
The debate will look at Social Security, Medicare, prescription drug pricing, caregiving and more, the AARP said.
Questions the AARP said it would ask the candidates include: How would you protect earned Social Security benefits for the future? How would you strengthen Medicare for the future? How will you lower prescription drug prices for all Americans? How will you make affordable, quality long-term care options available, especially at home, while also supporting family caregivers?
