LaLota Team Polling on Top Issues

The campaign of U.S. Rep.-elect Nick LaLota is surveying residents about the top issues Republicans should take up when the new House session opens in January.

The Republican, who will succeed Rep. Lee Zeldin in the First Congressional District that has expanded into Huntington, lists as possible top issues: jobs/economy, crime, inflation, education/parental rights, securing the border with Mexico, and upholding the Constitution. Residents can also choose “other.”

Residents can pick their favorite issue here: https://secure.winred.com/lalota-for-congress/email-petition-top-issue-nov-22

The page also serves as a fundraiser.

LaLota defeated Bridget Fleming on Nov .8. Zeldin gave up the seat to run for governor, but was defeated by Gov. Kathy Hochul.
