League Offering Free Counseling to Essential Workers

 
  Family Service League is offering free counseling to essential workers struggling with stress related to the Covid-19 epidemic.
 
The service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Front-line healthcare professionals and staff, first responders, and all other essential workers are invited to use the service.
 
If you are struggling with your daily routine, Workers may experience compassion fatigue, complex grief, and post-traumatic stress, as well as other emotional challenges.
 
FSL‘s mental health professionals are: 
    • providing immediate confidential assistance
    • trained in evidence-based crisis response and behavioral health practices 
    • here to listen and offer tangible support 
    • providing one-on-one or group counseling
    • offering linkages to other support resources

Covid-19 Testing Site

A new Covid-19 testing site has opened at St. Hugh of Lincoln Church in Huntington Station. An appointment is required; testing is available from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesdays-Fridays. To make an appointment please call 845-553-8030.
