Students went up against staff membersThursday at Walt Whitman High School in a lip sync battle that included dancing, some glitter guns and beach balls.
Students Madison Ewart and Nate Fontanetta were voted winners of the overall contest, performing to Telephone by Lady Gaga. They were chosen by an audience that cheered on the performers and judges’ comments as the show went on.
Music included John Denver’s Leaving on a Jet Plane with performers dressed in airline uniforms to Snoop Dog’s Drop It Like It’s Hot, The Time of My Life from Dirty Dancing, and Me Porto Bonito from Pitbull.
