The Long Island Rail Road has scheduled 13 extra eastbound trains Friday and again Monday for the New Year’s holiday.
On the Port Jefferson branch, the extra trains are:
- 2:08 PM train to Jamaica, Mineola, local to Huntington
- 2:29 PM train to Forest Hills, Kew Gardens, Jamaica, New Hyde Park, local to Huntington
- 3:24 PM train to Jamaica, Mineola, Westbury, Hicksville
