Local Students Named to Deans’ Lists

Tufts University

Tufts University recently announced the dean‘s list for the Spring 2019 semester.

Among students earning dean‘s list honors is/are:

Dean‘s list honors at Tufts University require a semester grade point average of 3.4 or greater.

Tufts University, located on campuses in Boston, Medford/Somerville and Grafton, Massachusetts, and in Talloires, France, is recognized among the premier research universities in the United States.

SUNY Oneonta

A total of 1,553 SUNY Oneonta students earned Dean‘s List honors for the spring 2019 semester. To qualify for the Dean‘s List, a student must earn a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher while carrying a course load of 12 hours or more.

Bates College

Jack Valentino of Huntington was named to the dean’s list at Bates College for the winter semester ending in April 2019. This is a distinction earned by students whose cumulative grade point average is 3.77 or higher.

Valentino, the son of  Carl and Jennifer Valentino of Huntington, N.Y., is a 2018 graduate of Chaminade High School. He is a first year at Bates.

Located in Lewiston, Maine, Bates is internationally recognized as a leading college of the liberal arts, attracting 2,000 students from across the U.S. and around the world. Since 1855, Bates has been dedicated to educating the whole person through creative and rigorous scholarship in a collaborative residential community.

Roger Williams University

Select students have been named to the Spring 2019 Dean’s List at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a GPA of 3.4 or higher are placed on the Dean’s List that semester.
