McDaniel College student Lola Kindall of Huntington will perform in the Gospel Choir Concert on Dec. 8, 3 p.m., in WMC Alumni Hall at McDaniel College, Westminster, Md. It is free and open to the public.
Under the direction of music lecturer Shelley Ensor, the concert, titled “My Soul Got Another Dip,” features traditional and contemporary gospel music, as well as spirituals.
“The focus, as always, is on songs that promote love, peace, and joy,” Ensor said. “We will be singing songs from Kirk Franklin, Chris Byrd, and even some Paul Simon.”
