Lupinacci Meets With Long Island Cares

Supervisor Chad A. Lupinacci met with members of Long Island Cares, Inc. and representatives from Huntington food pantries at Town Hall Wednesday, April 4, to discuss ways the town can collaborate with the groups to end hunger.

“Long Island Cares and our food pantries do a lot of great work with every donation, large and small, from the Huntington community,” said Supervisor Lupinacci.

Long Island Cares opened The Harry Chapin Food Bank in February 1980. The Food Bank receives, warehouses and distributes millions of pounds of donated and purchased food to residents of Nassau and Suffolk Counties who are in need.
