Macy’s Store in Commack to Close Its Doors

The Macy’s store in Commack is among several stores that will be closing this year, the company announced Wednesday.

The Commack store, at 2 Veterans Memorial Highway, is one of about 30 stores around the country that will close this spring. The department store chain said many stores are closing as their leases expire.

It is the second chain store to announce a closing in Huntington this week. On Monday, Pier 1 announced that its Huntington Station store  is among the  nearly 450 sites that would shut down this year.
