Making Way Out for Ducklings

Members of the Huntington Fire Department rescued several ducklings that had gotten trapped in a storm drain Saturday morning.

Firefighters removed the storm drain cover and entered the drain to rescue the four little ones. They were reunited with their mother. The drain was on Mill Dam Road near the boat ramp.

The incident was under the command of Chief Conroy, Assistant Chief Keane and Assistant Chief Schwier.
