Man Accused of DWI in Crash That Injured 2

A Huntington Station man was arrested Tuesday night and charged with driving while intoxicated after a collision that injured two people.

Suffolk County police said Sky Derival was eastbound on Jericho Turnpike when he attempted to turn left onto Broadway about 11 p.m. Tuesday when he collided with a westbound Toyota sedan.

 Fatima Vilorrio, 32, of Huntington Station, a passenger in the Toyota, was airlifted via Suffolk County Police helicopter to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The  Toyota driver,  Lesbi Dominguez, 18, of Huntington Station, was transported via ambulance to Huntington Hospital with minor injuries. Derival was not injured.

Derival, 32,  was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated. He is being held overnight at the Second Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Wednesday..
