Suffolk Police arrested a Bay Shore man Friday and charged him with second-degree murder in the death of a Dix Hills woman.
Charged in the death of Frania Espinal, 22, was Darren Mansfield, 22, of Bay Shore. She was found dead early Wednesday morning in the home he occupied.
He will be held overnight at the Third Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned on April 17, at First District Court in Central Islip.
A GoFundMe campaign is raising funds to cover her funeral.
