Man Accused of Stealing Cooking Oil From Chick-fil-A

A man was arrrested Wednesday and charged with stealing cooking oil from Chick-fil-A in Huntington Station, Suffolk County police said.

Hector Castrol-Espinal of Woodside, Queens was accused of commiting multiple thefts from the restaurant at 200 Jericho Turnpike this year.

The thief siphoned oil into a rented truck, and then resold the oil, police said.

The thefts occured Jan. 24, Jan. 31, Feb. 10, Feb. 18 and March 23.

Castrol-Espinal, 23, was charged with five counts of Petit Larceny. He was issued a Desk Appearance Ticket and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on a later date.
